Muller-Maher P h o t o g r a p h y
Terry Muller-Maher
For those that consider it relevant: I hope you have worked out from my photo that despite my name, I am of the female race. An oversight I blame on my mother, however, as the third youngest of eight surviving children I think any name is a good name. As for the Muller-Maher both are acquired family names from French/Germanic and Celtic backgrounds, apologises for any difficulty in pronunciation.
I have lived in the Southern Highlands for fifteen years and have a small grown-up family (well almost) dogs, cats and a terrific husband.
Developing ambitions to be self-employed long ago, I built my criteria around abilities to travel, feed my creative nature and foster my entrepreneurial tendencies. Often, with greater success on the former. As such my professional and personal lives have run parallel, as by and large I have maintained my self-imposed career guide.
Today, as a professional photographer I draw from all of my ventures, studies and passions that have crossed the hair, food & wine, and print media industries. Every one of these learnt skills are relevant and useful to me whether I’m photographing a bride, a building or a baby as they all carry
the common thread of creativity and engagement with people.
